Thich Ca Phat Dai

Being one of the most antique pagodas in Vung Tau city, Thich Ca Phat Dai is a sculpture architectural complex, which was built against the life history of Buddha from his birth to his entrance into Nivana.
The area of this pagoda is 6 ha. The construction of the pagoda started in 1961 and finished in 1963. In the pagoda, there is a 3 meter tower which reservers the remains of the first nun. The pagoda also has famous statues such as: Phat Dan Sinh, Cat Toc Di Tu... which describe the legend of Buddha who was a prince of India, born in 623 BC. Thich Ca Phat Dai is the most typical Buddhism work of Vung Tau in particular and Vietnam in general.
