Nui Dinh in Ba Ria Vung Tau

Located near the highway 51 in Ba Ria township and Tan Thanh district, Nui Dinh is shaped as a bow and has  the direction of South East - North West... The highest peak is Ong Trinh mountain and the remaining is slope towards two directions. Previously, this area is a primeval forest and diffcult and dangerous mountains. Making use of such terrain in the end of 1952, Ba Ria city Party Commitee moved in secrecy the operational base from Sac Forest to Dinh Mountain. During the two wars, Dinh Mountain is the safe base to protect the units operating in the South-Eastern battlefield. Dinh Mountain has been recognized as the historical and cultural vestige in 1993 by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
