Cau Da Relic, Vung tau

Cau da

Cau Da is a road leading to the seaside, in parallel with Bai Truoc, which was built by French colonials in 1940. Nowadays, only a stone dyke of a concrete block running along Bai Truoc can be seen. Accordting to Vung Tau fishermen, Cau Da used to be French colonials pre-port dyke. Cau Da relic represents a proof of French colonial's cruelty which could be faded away or covered by sea wave and tides over 100 years.Cau Da and artillery field on Nui Nho mountain form a historical relic complex which was ranked into national level by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
