Niet Ban Tinh Xa, Vung Tau

Niet Ban Tinh Xa, Vung tau

Located on the side of Nui Nho, the construction of the Niet Ban Tinh Xa started in 1969 and completed in 1974, with the area of 10,000m2. The most outstanding impression of this construction is the miture between oriental and western architectural feature. At the central chamber, there is a statue of Buddad lying on one side and looking toward the West with his foot sole to be engraved with 52 points. The statue becomes more outstanding against the background if forest, mountain and animal landscape sculptured.

The Bat Nha ship, on the right, is decorated with many ornamental plants and the woods of Tho Da releting the tale of Grotama, the austere prince on his journey to save souls of the dead. The deck of Bat Nha has a campanile with an arched roof at four points in the shape of swords that are carved with bronze statues. There is a Giant Bell made of bronze, famous for its echo. In front of the Main Shrine, there is a big thurible with sophisticatedly joined pieces of porcelain protraying the four " Dragon - Kylin - Tortoise - Phoenix".
Niet ban Tinh Xa is a holly place, an attractive destination for visitors and tourists.
