Overview Of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province

            Located on South east part of Vietnam, Ba Ria Vung Tau is contiguous to Dong Nai province to the North, Binh Thuan province to the East, Ho Chi Minh city to the West and South to the South Sea, with a coastal line of over 305 km. including about 72 km for beaches.
          Ba Ria Vung tau has 8 administrative units including Vung Tau city, Ba Ria town and 6 suburban districts: Long Dien, Dat Do, Xuyen Moc, Tan Thanh, Chau Duc and Con Dao. This province has an offshore bench of 100,000 km2, mild tropical climate as influenced by the sea, and two distinct sesions: rainy and dry seasion. The annual average temperature is 25C to 27C and the average humidity is 80%.
         With advantageous seaway adn water way system along with huge potentialities in petroleum, Ba Ria - Vung Tau are gradually enhancing its advantagenin tourism industry. The province possesses a beautiful and romantic natural community with big and small mountain ranges, Minh Dam and Dinh mountains shielding smooth and gently sloping beaches. Con Son Islands at offshore surrounding natural beaches and 2 famous natural reserves including Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu and Con Dao national park with valuable and rare fauna and flora, diversified environment containing many forest types, Binh Chau hot spring resort with warm atmosphere and floating dew in the thick green wood, and mineral resorts for health treatment.
           Ba Ria Vung Tau not only has advantageous location, but is also has many national historical and revolutionry monuments. Thanks to advantages in nature and human culture potentialities, Ba Ria - Vung Tau has become a famous tourism destination with modern tourism infrastructure. At present, the tourism industry of this province has had stable annual growth with series of foreign investment project in hotels, resort and entertainment construction. In the near future, Ba Ria Vung Tau will develop corresponding to its status of a national important tourism centre.
